And now, the Casket Lottery will be releasing “Real Fear,” the bands fifth full length album.

Alarm Magazine have posted the premiere of “In The Branches,” taken from the upcoming full length. Listen to it here.
Strapped with an arsenal of moody, abrasive guitars, precision bass lines and mathy drumwork, The Casket Lottery return with their strongest album to date, Real Fear; a beautifully cathartic, dreary-dreamlike swirl of grooving riffs that intertwine with singer Nathan Ellis’ relentless vocals that transcend into a euphoric intensity for the dark horse album of the fall.

In support of the upcoming reissue of their long out of print debut full-length album “Give Them Rope,” trailblazing hardcore band COALESCE, front-man Sean Ingram recently sat down to speak with NPR Music about the upcoming release, and has also premiered music from the original releases below.
The specially priced, double-LP available on November 22nd via No Sleep Records (digital and CD versions available via Relapse), will include a digitally-remastered version of the first edition of Give Them Rope (1997), as well as second disc with Give Them Rope She Said v2.0, a remixed version of the album (2004).

No Sleep Records is BEYOND excited to announce the upcoming release of “Give Them Rope” from Coalesce as a 2x12”. The record features both the 1996 version (remastered) and the 2002 version (what Sean Ingram calls the “George Lucased” version) in a beautiful Gatefold LP with a new take on the original pressings artwork.
“Give Them Rope from Coalesce has been a personal favorite of mine since i first heard it. The record still holds as strong to me as the first time someone showed me it in their car stereo. To be able to release what i believe is a true classic on vinyl is an honor.”
Give Them Rope is available in two color ways for its first pressing on No Sleep.
Sean Ingram of Coalesce had this to say about the re-issue on No Sleep
“Coalesce is very honored to be working with No Sleep records to give our first full length record a proper home in vinyl. This record has proved to be a very difficult challenge over the years, and some of us felt it was never quite done. The art wasn’t correct, that bass line Stacy biffed needed fixing, the mastering was muddy. Whatever anyone has to say about Give them Rope, the band has their own opinions too. It’s true that you never forget your first, and this sentiment is what led Ingram to revisit this record around 2002 to fix those past mistakes as it was going into repress again. The results weren’t bad, but they were too different. It’s something that George Lucas could appreciate, but old fans could not totally embrace. Because 2002 is in itself a long time ago, and more new fans actually heard the second version than the first, we are doing we think is the right way to approach this and No Sleep is including both versions in one Gatefold package with the original artwork reworked to include both versions.”
Also available with the pre-order is a brand new “Give Them Rope” t-shirt design from Coalesce! Available for purchase right here.
